As an Administration Assistant (Emiratisation) within the dnata airport operations team, this role will be require to provide essential administrative support to all operational staff in the Department.
In this role, you will be responsible to;
- Handle competently the requisition and procurement of all Departmental stationery, stores and supplies and to monitor all inventories on a regular basis.
- Manually allocate the PDAs/Tetra, Batteries and Bluetooth printers to the staff depending on their allocated task
- Ensure to maintain sufficient stock of regular consumables such as; Printer Cartridges, Rotty Printer Rolls, General Stationery, Fall-back forms, H/B Bingo Sheets etc.
- Exercise full adherence to ?Device Lending/Retrieval? Process & ensure safe-keeping of deposited ID cards. All observed irregularities, such as; missing or non-retrieved devices should be flagged & followed-up on immediate basis.
- Update the allocation details of staff number and equipment in the relevant systems, which has been allocated during the shift.
- Issue ITSR for all the faulty equipment with detailed information and update Equipment Maintenance Section in the relevant systems for records and follow-up.
- Liaise with IT Support and/or workshop based on severity of the fault and coordinate with Equipment and Facility Supervisor for follow-up
- Monitor operational situation within the assigned area to coordinate with the operational colleagues should that be required.
- Support I&UO in the distribution of uniform items such as; Lanyards, Lapel Pins, Name Badges, Ear Plugs, Safety Tabards, Airport Pass holders etc.
- Notify the concerned DO for all adhoc requests (Printing etc.) posed by airline customer/s & update InfoSpace link with relevant information based on approval from DO.
- Maintain, organise & update noticeboards with relevant departmental & safety bulletins.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements;
- A minimum of 1 year of general administration experience, ideally within airport operations and/or passenger handling
- 10 Years schooling or equivalent
- Fluency in written/spoken English.
- Thorough knowledge of computer applications, Excel/MS Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Should be familiar with Airport operational environment
