Job Purpose

As a Business Development Officer you will assist the Manager Business Development with research, document control and administrative support tasks associated with new business opportunities for dnata.


In this role you will:

  • Conducts research as directed and collates findings and data into an appropriate format to support business cases.
  • Maintains up to date country, industry, and other themed research profile templates by regularly reviewing approved and official data sources.
  • Summarise information into clear and concise reports, facilitating better understanding and decision-making by the management team.
  • Develops and maintains document library of approved templates for the team.
  • Contribute to the development and tracking of project plans under the guidance of the manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and other documentation required for potential clients or partners.
  • Maintains and updates processes and documents to ensure alignment with any changes in the legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support due diligence activities on potential partners or clients to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain the Business Development team calendar; Prepare all supporting materials and data requirements to support scheduled reporting and ad hoc meetings.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices within the department.


Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements: 

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an international organisation.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • IT and Computer Literacy including familiarity with MS Office suite
  • Data collation and analysis
