Job Purpose

Join our Airport Services team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless airport operations and delivering world-class service to our customers. The team is responsible for a wide range of critical functions, both “above and below the wing,” to keep our busy airport running efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

Plan and execute the administration function related to leave distribution, manpower resource deployment and stores planning and management for the Department in accordance with Company/ Departmental regulations, to ensure optimum utilisation of resources to cover the 24 hrs shift operations whilst maintaining an effective quality service delivery, in adherence with the SOP. Maintain adequate stationery, a regular contact with Customs for unclaimed bags and ensure all equipment are functional for a smooth operation.


In this role, you will: 

  • Administer and maintain data across relevant systems, ensuring compliance with established administrative processes.

  • Accurately record and update staff overtime, in-lieu, sickness, absence, and leave in HR systems (e.g., TER) on time.

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service across multiple communication channels.

  • Coordinate with HR, Police, and DA authorities on Airport Pass renewals; proactively monitor upcoming expiries and engage stakeholders to prevent delays.

  • Manage incoming correspondence (emails and calls), respond or redirect appropriately, and compile information as required.

  • Oversee departmental attendance, overtime, and trip claims, ensuring submissions are accurate and comply with company policies and financial guidelines.

  • Coordinate communication, documentation, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth alignment of timelines, purchases, and deliveries.

  • Manage product audits, maintenance schedules, asset and hardware upkeep, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct system testing and defect tracking, working closely with IT and business teams to ensure requirements are met and drive continuous process improvement.



Qualification

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Minimum 12 years of schooling (or equivalent qualification)

  • At least 3 years’ experience in operations and/or back-office functions

  • Proven experience in an administrative environment, ideally in a similar role

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to work with company-specific systems
