Job Purpose

The Compliance Monitoring Engineering section ensures Emirates Engineering meets all technical standards through a rigorous Audit Program. We provide independent assessments of airworthiness management, training, manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Compliance Monitoring Engineering proactively establishes and implements audit programs to monitor all technical aspects, identifying potential issues and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Our focus is on maintaining effective documentation and implementation of quality management systems to uphold corporate commitments to regulations, safety policies, and quality standards.


As a Compliance Monitoring Auditor III, you will assure through periodic inspection of the aircraft and records that airworthiness and quality standards are achieved as per the GCAA, EASA and other National Aviation Authorities (NAAs) regulations. To monitor the quality of work produced by the licensed engineers approved technicians and mechanics so that they meet the requirements of the published approved procedures to ensure operational safety. To review existing Engineering Procedures and any amendments submitted to the Compliance Monitoring department for approval to ensure that they comply with the regulatory requirements.


In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the audit of all engineering functions in order to ensure that the functions are in conformity with UAE GCAA and other foreign NAA's requirements as specified in the schedules of approval granted to Emirates Engineering.

  • Review, control and inspect work certified by licensed engineers in order to determine any deviation from Maintenance Manuals requirements and Engineering Procedures to ensure that certification of work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations and requirements.

  • Assist in the review of regulations pertaining to validity of licences, approvals held by engineers and run a system of updating everyone's file in view of training and certification enhancement. Recommend the issue of approvals / authorisations to engineers, technicians and third-party agencies for the maintenance release of aircraft.

  • The CME is responsible for issuing company authorizations to certifying staff. This critical role includes assessing qualifications, skills, and expertise to grant official approvals, ensuring that authorized personnel possess the necessary credentials to effectively contribute to the company's operations.

  • Participate in the review of all UAE GCAA and other foreign NAA regulations and to evaluate their impact on Emirates Engineering procedures in order that working standards are maintained.

  • Initiate improvements to working practices of aircraft maintenance personnel by analysing the findings of audits and Quality Assurance inspections. Work closely with Compliance Managers in executing improvement initiatives identified by the Compliance Monitoring management whilst supporting line management in implementing these initiatives within the timeline specified.

  • Work with engineering departments to ensure timely corrective action is taken on audit findings and ESR investigations.

  • Assist with the investigation and identification of probable cause of reported occurrences and issue corrective recommendations as necessary following aircraft incidents, accidents, occurrences to ensure the highest standards of airworthiness are maintained.

  • Provide assistance, support and produce reports for all Export C of As, Transfer of Titles, Aircraft De-registrations and non-Incident statements for the EK Fleet.

  • Provide assistance in managing and processing the GCAA e-Services applications for CAR 145 Scope of Work Extension, Issue/Renewal of Nominated Post Holder Applications, MORC Applications/Renewal and Security Clearance Renewal, Export Certificate of Airworthiness, C of R amendment, Phase out and Flight Permits.


Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or an Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering Quality Assurance and in an Aircraft Engineering environment.
  • Awareness of Airworthiness, air legislation and modern quality assurance techniques and principles and audit procedures.
