Description & Requirements
Emirates Flight Training Centre offers an advanced facility with full-flight simulators for Emirates' Airbus and Boeing fleets. It is a modern training facility for its flight deck and Cabin crew. The Flight Training facilities provide a range of world-class training and development programs for its workforce and other aviation professionals.
**This position is open to candidates from both the Airbus and Boeing fleets.
Responsible for developing and updating initial and recurrent instructor training programmes to reflect the latest regulatory requirements. Ensure Emirates Flight Training policies and procedures adhere to the regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
- Ensure instructor training, assessments and qualification events are standardized and conducted in accordance with company manuals, processes and procedures.
- Control and review of relevant training documents, manuals, learning material, lesson plans associated with the conduct of instructor training to ensure the content is accurate and adheres to the GCAA regulations.
- Oversee training of instructors and evaluator trainees and support individuals who fail to achieve a satisfactory performance.
- Monitor the quality of standards training captains to ensure they conduct their duties in line with company requirements and standards.
- Design and develop instructor courses in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop recurrent training framework for the Evidence Based Training programme as part of the EBT development company process.
- Initial assessment and ongoing quality control of outsourced instructors and outsourced (third party) pilot training programs.
- Liaise with regulators (GCAA, EASA etc) and other external stakeholders within the industry as required.
- Conduct instructor/examiner duties, including FSTD training, checking and classroom activities as applicable.
- Support with ad hoc internal projects, change management and risks assessments.
Qualification
- Holds a valid ATPL
- Valid TRI/TRE certificate for applicable type
- Minimum 12 months as an active Instructor/Examiner or Line Training Captain with 6 months in an EK training position.
Knowledge/skills:
- Previous instructional/examiner experience preferred.
- Advanced communication and leadership skills.
