The selected candidate will lead the strategic design and delivery of the Group's enterprise multimedia learning solutions, acting as a recognised expert and people leader for the learning multimedia team, broader Group Training & Development teams, contracted vendor partners and learning practitioners across the Group, to drive consistent quality, scalable delivery and measurable business impact.
In this role, you will:
- Lead on the use of technology and multimedia to design, deliver and continuously improve relevant, bespoke experience-based learning solutions that support organisational capability and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and strategic business partners to provide cross-portfolio collaboration and leadership, while translating business priorities into impactful digital multimedia learning experiences aligned to organisational capability and transformation objectives.
- Define and govern enterprise standards for multimedia production and visual design, ensuring consistency, brand alignment, accessibility and strong instructional outcomes across all digital learning initiatives.
- Own and govern the Group Training and Development media ecosystem, including asset management, curation, standards, project & stakeholder management and lifecycle management of media libraries.
- Drive innovation in learning experience design by identifying, piloting and embedding emerging multimedia formats, tools, and methodologies (e.g. 360 video, vlogs, podcasts, blogs, microlearning assets) to enhance learner engagement and effectiveness.
Qualification
In order to be considered for this position, you must meet the below requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the training or learning sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certification in adult learning is highly desirable.
- Leadership experience in learning multimedia and/or digital learning design, delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions supported by strong governance and platform optimisation.
- Advanced expertise in multimedia learning design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud), HTML/CSS, AI‑based learning media libraries, interactive/video production, and UI/UX methodologies that enhance learner engagement.
- Proven ability to partner with and influence senior leaders and key learning stakeholders in complex, fast‑paced environments.
- Strong problem‑solving capability, using sound judgement, negotiation, and conflict‑management skills to balance creative ambition, learner needs, and business constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to translate learning and capability strategies into actionable multimedia roadmaps, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver high‑impact outcomes through disciplined project management.
