Job Purpose

The purpose of the Digital Product Manager (dnata) is responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of digital products that are aligned to the key business objectives and strategic drivers of the supported dnata brands, ensuring that all product development is rooted in a deep understanding of customer needs, leveraging both quantitative data and qualitative insights to inform priorities and decisions. They will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of feature development, from ideation through to delivery. This includes creating and maintaining digital roadmaps for each of the brands in the portfolio, managing feature backlogs and prioritising work across internal and external teams.


In this role, you will:

  • Develop and own the strategic product roadmap for the dnata digital portfolio. Align business priorities, customer needs, and brand objectives into a cohesive set of initiatives that strengthen dnata's digital differentiation. Coordinate roadmap execution with technology, marketing, and operational leaders.
  • Serve as the business-facing product lead within agile squads, collaborating with engineering, solution architecture, UX, analytics, agency counterparts and content teams to drive end-to-end delivery. Ensure business value is realised iteratively through clearly defined and prioritised product backlogs.
  • Ensure digital capabilities and features are delivered with consistency across all customer-facing digital channels. Promote reusable design patterns, shared services, and coordinated roadmaps with other product teams to ensure a unified customer journey.
  • Work closely with Experience Design and Brand teams to ensure all products reflect dnata's design language, accessibility standards, and storytelling principles. Embed test-and-learn methodologies and research insights into the development lifecycle to drive customer growth and brand engagement.
  • Identify and prioritise digital features that enable customers or partners to complete tasks independently, reducing reliance on offline or manual channels. Collaborate with operational teams to digitize high-volume interactions and automate service delivery while maintaining experience quality.
  • Define and track product KPIs aligned to business goals, including engagement, conversion, NPS, cost avoidance, and system performance. Monitor SLAs and support regular reporting in partnership with analytics, IT operations, and vendor management teams. Use insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with analytics, IT, and data governance teams to ensure digital products maintain high data quality standards and customer trust. Embed privacy-by-design principles, ensure consent collection is fit-for-purpose, and support audits and compliance across the data lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of digital and MarTech trends, competitor capabilities, and shifts in user behaviour. Partner with innovation and tech architecture teams to assess emerging solutions, validate through experimentation, and contribute to The Group?s forward-looking digital strategy.
  • Build and nurture high-performing cross-functional product squads. Mentor junior product owners, designers, and analysts. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across business and technical teams.
  • Act as the voice of the business and customer within the delivery lifecycle. Engage regularly with marketing, loyalty, commercial, operations, and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment. Contribute to investment business cases, 3-year planning cycles, and quarterly roadmap planning with your technology counterpart.


Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:


Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with a specialisation in Digital Communications. 

Experience: 8+ years of experience in Marketing Communication or other. 

Knowledge & Skills: 

  • A Qualification from a professional marketing institution such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing would be an advantage as would a professional qualification in the Market Research Discipline.
  • Experience as a digital product owner within a multi-national Client/Brand.
  • Proven track record of working with first party data models to drive personalised experiences.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver business value.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of app technologies and understanding of different programming languages and how they affect web/app build as well as the user experience.
  • Demonstrable Product Owner skills.
