Join our Engine Maintenance Centre, a cutting-edge maintenance facility, where we deliver exceptional Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for the engines of Emirates’ fleets. As the EEMC Manager Engine Production and Overhaul Operations, you will be accountable for the entire Engine Overhaul Process (Induction, Disassembly and Inspection, Repair, Assembly) in aspects of TAT, Safety, Compliance and Cost and ensure that they are aligned with internal and regulatory standards.
In this role, you will:
- Accountable for TAT, Cost and Safety/Compliance as well as the functional and disciplinary leadership in his area.
- Lead and guide team of managers, technicians and engineers to ensure that Maintenance and Overhaul activities are efficiently planned, organised and technically supported while ensuring that best operational/commercial interests of the business are served.
- Manage the operations with the help of an efficient KPI System in place i.e. operational, Financial, compliance and safety and pre-emptively address and escalate all deviations that would impact TAT, cost and safety with all relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible to monitor that all relevant safety and compliance regulations are being followed and immediately address any deviations and escalate them according to the internal procedures in place.
- Accountable for all technical, organizational and personnel requirements to meet the necessary internal procedures and authority requirements and manage deviations from them.
- Responsible for industry best practice is being applied and continuous improvement efforts are being carried out and implemented.
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders internally and externally to achieve maximum efficiency and best results and maintain an adequate and fact based collaboration with them.
- Accountable to set relevant objectives for the Leadership Team and others, constantly follow up, and provide feedback to them.
- Accountable for developing the Leadership team and other employees by ensuring that they are trained, Talents being identified and fostered. The development of UAE national employees deserve a special focus.
- Responsible for the cost centre related Budget Process and control.
Qualification
To be considered in this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering and or B1 License or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering MRO environment and/or Support Services of which at least 5 years in a management position in MRO preferably Power Plant.
