dnata is one of the worlds largest air and travel services providers offering ground handling cargo travel and catering retail services at over 130 airports in more than 34 countries across six continents. Within Brazil, dnata serves more than 15 airlines, with a team of 5000 local aviation professionals, handling over 200000 aircraft turnarounds annually.
As a Head of Human Resources, dnata Brazil, you will lead and manage all Human Resources (HR) functions at the country level, collaborating with the global HR network to drive key priorities such as recruitment, employee development, performance management and policy implementation. You will support the company's goals, business growth and organizational culture in alignment with the overall strategy.
This position will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Travel within the role is required.
In this role you will
- Lead and direct strategic people plans and initiatives collaborating with HQ and local leadership to align with business priorities and achieve objectives
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures manage budgets and ensure optimal resource utilization
- Drive continuous improvement in systems processes and practices to enhance people experience and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations manage risks and make informed decisions on people-related matters
- Develop integrated sourcing and recruiting strategies set performance goals and ensure effective talent management and succession planning
- Promote dnatas Vision Mission and Values throughout the employee lifecycle to ensure a positive and engaging experience
- Set clear objectives drive performance accountability and support department heads in achieving goals
- Implement effective reward and recognition initiatives to foster a high-performance culture
- Ensure effective talent management and succession planning prioritizing safety in all decisions and behaviors
Qualification
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelors degree and 8 years experience in senior HR roles, preferably in multinational or multisite organizations with strong regional/country HR expertise and application of local labor laws
- Experience in HR systems implementation, business transformation and change management with strong industrial employee relations expertise
- Ability to provide data-driven insights manage budgets and lead global or regional mobility programs
- Written and verbal fluency in English and Portuguese
You'll have an edge if you have
- A professional accreditation - CIPD or equivalent
- Written and verbal fluency in Spanish
