The successful candidate will deliver academic/vocational programmes (as appropriate) including internally and externally awarded programmes as directed by the head of the concerned department. Ensure that the course content, material and assessments are in line with the programme specification and comply with requirements of the validating/accrediting bodies.

In this role, you will: 

• Lecture planning, preparation, delivery and assessment of the relevant academic/vocational subject in line with the Emirates Aviation University's (EAU) policies and procedures as well as local/international validating/awarding bodies.
• Prepare lessons plan, and provide course materials on the University?s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
• Provide assessment guidelines to students and conduct the marking with proper student feedback while adhering to the university policies.
• Maintain the student records and entering them into the university student information system.
• Maintain subject knowledge and undertake continuous personal development, including internal training and development programmes, research and publications in international conferences/journals.
• Adhere to the university policy on contact and teaching time as well as students office-hours.
• Participate in student advising as directed by the head of department.
• Responsible for supervising examinations, attending staff meetings and participating in standing and ad-hoc committees and general administrative work.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the below requirements: 

• Master Degree/ Honour Degree
• 3-6years in relevant subject.

You'll have an edge if you have: 

• Highly motivated individual possessing strong, interpersonal, communication, organisational and management skills, along with cultural sensitivity. 
• Proven experience in managing a team of vocational lecturers/assessors. 
• Should be change oriented and have the proven ability to work withing a multicultural and multinational environment.
