Job Purpose

At Emirates Group our Enterprise Data & Analytics department (ED&A) is a centralized unit that provides data and analytics support to Emirates Group businesses. This allows our businesses to make better decisions by using data and analytics to understand our customers, operations, and markets. The ED&A is an essential part of Emirates Group's digital transformation strategy. The unit is helping Emirates Group to become a more data-driven organization and to make better decisions by using data and analytics.


Develop and drive the Analytics Enablement and Adoption strategy across the Emirates Group. Define and drive the strategic vision for embedding analytics into business practices by establishing consistent standards, strengthening capabilities across technical and business teams, and fostering communities of practice.


In this role, you will:

  • Define and drive the enterprise-wide analytics enablement strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and analytics maturity. Champion initiatives that embed analysis tools, data products and insights into daily operations across all functions, develop supporting frameworks, methodologies, and tools that enable and accelerate analytics adoption across the organisation.
  • Accelerate analytics and BI adoption across business units to unlock measurable value. Monitor usage metrics, identify and address adoption barriers, and implement targeted interventions to sustain momentum.
  • Build organisational data literacy and analytics capabilities by collaborating with Learning & Talent to design scalable, role-relevant programs. Ensure integration with corporate learning frameworks and analytics priorities.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on embedding analytics into planning, operations, and performance management. Promote data-driven decision- becoming a standard practice across the organisation.
  • Cultivate an analytics-driven culture by leading communities of practice among analysts, BI professionals, and data champions. Encourage collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing to accelerate enterprise-wide adoption.
  • Oversees consistent application of analytics governance and standards across federated teams. Partner with governance and platform teams to promote adherence to enterprise frameworks, policies, and guardrails.
  • Lead the analytics enablement team, setting clear KPIs and evaluating performance against adoption, capability, and business value metrics. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Qualification: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Technology or Business Management.
  • Experience: 10+ years in Information Technology or Project Management.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience delivering change/transformation initiatives using project and change management methods in a large organisations.
  • Exposure to a wide range of Business Intelligence roles which have had a focus on the introduction of BI and Analytics projects to large, geographically disparate teams.
  • Experience in driving data literacy programs across large enterprises.
  • Experience in designing, developing and maturing analytics and BI communities of practices.
  • Outstanding ability to facilitate dialogue and resolution of complex issues with a range of stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Knowledge and understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in translating business needs into analytics enablement strategies, ensuring relevance and user ability of tools and frameworks.
  • Experience leading analytics tools rollouts, including user onboarding, feedback collection, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to measure and report on analytics adoption and literacy impact through the use of KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
