The successful candidate will drive the University's strategic growth agenda by identifying, evaluating, and implementing business development opportunities that enhance institutional performance, financial sustainability, and market presence. The role will lead initiatives related to new programme development, market expansion, revenue diversification, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with the University's vision and objectives. Through close collaboration with academic and professional services teams, the position will support student recruitment, graduate employability, and the delivery of innovative initiatives that strengthen the University's reputation and long-term success.

In this role, you will: 

• Identify, evaluate, and develop business opportunities and initiatives to support Emirates Aviation University's academic and institutional objectives.
• Develop and drive market-facing strategies to position and promote the University's academic portfolio, programmes, and services, strengthening brand presence and market reach.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, industry leaders, and academic institutions to advance institutional priorities and opportunities.
• Direct student support functions to ensure an enriching and seamless student experience throughout the academic journey.
• Strengthen industry engagement to enhance experiential learning, employability, and graduate success.
• Represent the University at senior-level academic, professional, and industry forums to enhance institutional visibility, influence, and reputation.
• Negotiate and oversee collaborative agreements and contractual arrangements to ensure compliance with governance requirements, regulatory obligations, and institutional priorities.
• Monitor performance against agreed objectives and contribute to governance and reporting frameworks to ensure measurable outcomes, accountability, and continuous improvement.

In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: 

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience. 
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or Honours in a related field.

• Experience within higher education and multicultural environments.
  
• Strong understanding of institutional development and higher education operations.
  
• Corporate and Academic Stakeholder Management.
• Experience managing partnership agreements and collaborative arrangements within academia.
  
• Experience leading student-focused and industry engagement initiatives.
  
• Proven expertise in institutional growth and market development.
  
• Strong capability in identifying opportunities and delivering measurable outcomes.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
