The Compliance Monitoring section ensures Emirates meets all technical standards through a rigorous Audit Program. We provide independent assessments of airworthiness management, training, manufacturing, maintenance,  engineering activities, air operations, ground operations, and flight training ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

CM proactively establishes and implements audit programs to monitor all technical aspects, identifying potential issues and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Our focus is on maintaining effective documentation and implementation of quality management systems to uphold corporate commitments to regulations, safety policies, and quality standards.

As a Manager Quality Assurance and Standardisation, you will manage and ensuring the consistency, quality, and integrity of audits conducted by the compliance monitoring sections. Responsible for the continuous improvement of the auditing standards as well as the approved engineering expositions and procedures while monitoring management of change.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the standardisation of audit processes and ensure consistency across all audit functions. Review and assess the audits performed by Compliance Monitoring auditors, and certification activities ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and internal standards. Develop and implement frameworks for auditing the auditing process, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
• Monitor the effectiveness of audits, certifications performed by the compliance team to ensure that findings are accurate, documented, and compliant with applicable standards. Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions suggested in audit findings. Ensure audits are conducted in alignment with relevant regulations in terms of frequency, scope.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit quality assessments, identifying trends and providing recommendations for process improvement. Maintain a database of audit results, reports, and corrective actions to support internal and external compliance reporting.
• Conduct continuous surveillance over engineering activities and perform spot checks. Take enforcement actions against staff members in breach including suspension and revocation of authorisations. Conduct special ad-hoc investigations and audits based on triggering events or as directed by the Management.
• In collaboration with stakeholders enhance and improve auditing processes, tools, and methodologies. Stay updated on new regulations, standards, and best practices in auditing to ensure that the Compliance Standardisation section is operating at optimal standards.
• Identify potential risks within auditing processes and recommend measures to mitigate those risks and to propose risk-based approaches for audits. Conduct root cause analysis on issues identified during audits and propose strategies to reduce recurrence.
• Responsible for leading and overseeing a team by providing effective coaching and support to ensure their professional growth and development. Manage team performance through regular feedback, goal setting, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Additionally, ensure clear communication of expectations and organisational objectives to motivate and guide team members toward achieving departmental and company goals.

To be considered in this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering
• Qualifications in Engineering or Quality Management or holder of / has held UAE GCAA Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Aviation experience including minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing.

Skills:

• Training in modern quality assurance and auditing techniques appropriate to at least some of the approvals and accreditations held by Emirates.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality System criteria and procedures.
• Expert knowledge of regulations issued by GCAA.
• Expert knowledge of Process design.
