About the Role: 

As a Manager Regional Catering Operations, you will be responsible for the regional management of the Emirates global catering operations, ensuring effective contractual governance, SLA compliance and delivering exceptional catering services within each allocated region. This role involves cultivating strong partnerships with Emirates service providers, representing Emirates at a senior level and driving continuous catering performance improvements.

In this role you will: 

• Implement a comprehensive strategy to optimize catering performance metrics, including F&B quality, operational efficiency, financial performance, customer satisfaction, punctuality, safety, sustainability, and compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Manage the representation of Service Delivery, Catering in evaluating and selecting catering suppliers that meet Emirates standards for quality, operational efficiency, culinary focus, safety, and consistency.
• Manage catering contracts by applying SLAs and performance management techniques to ensure operational excellence and alignment with the Emirates brand and quality standards.
• Oversee mid-contract menu implementations and analyse the F&B and operational costs to maintain budgetary control and deliver the best value for money.
• Develop and implement processes to monitor adherence to agreed standards, assess customer acceptance of products and concepts, and ensure consistency in service levels across contractors.
• Collaborate with the Culinary Design, Onboard Service, and Food Safety teams to plan and manage the implementation of menu rotations, galley loading, and onboard service design initiatives.
• Lead and develop a team of regional catering operations managers by providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and represent Emirates at senior levels to drive catering excellence.

This job might be for you if you have: 

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent). 
• 10+ years in In-Flight Service/In-Flight Catering.

You'll have an edge if you possess: 

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Arts or F&B Operational Management.
• Catering management experience (airline, hospitality, or large-scale food manufacturing service), with at least 5 years in an in-flight service management role.
• Relevant strong culinary experience and background
• Experience in managing multiple regional operations and vendors.
• Proven ability in contract and vendor management, including negotiations, performance monitoring, and compliance with SLAs.
• In-depth knowledge of food production processes, menu development, food safety and Halal Compliance regulations, and efficient operational methods.
• Strong understanding of cultural dimensions and global catering logistics; familiarity with airline regulatory requirements and international standards.
• Optional certifications: HACCP, ISO 22000 (Food Safety), culinary certifications for menu design and quality assessment.
• Expertise and awareness in global food trends, service delivery concepts, and emerging innovations in catering and hospitality.
• Commitment to staying updated on F&B industry developments through conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions.airline sectors.
• Frequent international travel required.
