As a Project Manager, you will plan, manage, and successfully deliver projects in compliance with the Company’s project practices, standards, and processes, while ensuring projects meet defined business requirements and achieve expected benefits within agreed scope, budget, and timelines. You will lead projects end-to-end from initiation to closure, coordinate stakeholders, manage risks and resources, and represent the Department in large-scale business initiatives across the Group where required.



In  this role, you will

  • Lead and deliver projects end-to-end within agreed scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards, ensuring alignment with project charters and business objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and support functions to define project objectives, deliverables, milestones, roles, responsibilities, and service levels
  • Develop, maintain, and manage realistic project plans, resources, and project registers/planning tools to ensure effective execution and governance
  • Manage project stakeholders, cross-functional teams, business users, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth implementation and timely realization of benefits
  • Ensure business requirements are fully analysed, documented, challenged, and translated into effective, maintainable, and customer-focused solutions
  • Oversee the planning, design, testing, implementation, training, and ongoing support of functional and IT system solutions in line with corporate standards
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, conflicts, and corrective actions in consultation with stakeholders and support functions
  • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant project reporting to sponsors, steering committees, stakeholders, and impacted departments
  • Drive continuous improvement of project delivery performance, systems, procedures, quality, productivity, and operational standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop project team members to maximise performance, productivity, and successful project delivery
  • Understand ‘as is’ processes and define future ‘blueprints/to be’ processes and conduct gap analysis
  • Drive readiness assessments, lead change initiatives with selected stakeholders and act as change champion to help users adapt to new processes


Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years’ experience in a PMO or Strategic planning function, specifically in Finance & Insurance Management
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional projects, preferably within a leading project management function
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • In-depth understanding of business operations across multiple functions within large organisations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to engage, persuade, and manage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Hands-on experience in project management, change implementation, systems development management, business analysis, application support, and project management tools
