Job Purpose

JOB PURPOSE Selectively accept reservations and regularly update the reservation system in respective shifts and attend to customers and their complaints JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 1 Accept reservations up to final destinations using independent judgement considering all parameters like density mix loadability commercially important cargo and traffic trends in order to obtain optimum yield 2Attend to customers and their complaints diligently and initiate tracer action and followup to maintain high service levels 3Compile statistics relating to reservation trends transfer connection yield and seasonal variations to provide management relevant information 4 Quote rates and answer queries on flight schedule tariff and shipment status in order to provide service to customers 5Create and update import and departure records as well as inform customers with relevant post flight status of their shipments to provide service to customers and accurate information to network stations



Qualification

Qualifications Graduate Experience 3 Years LogisticsCargoOther Knowledgeskills Must have knowledge of typing telex and cargo IMP Must have worked in Cargo and Mail unit of an international airport airline or GSAagency for minimum 3 years Conversant with computerised reservation of cargo SITA Fast IV system a distinct advantage Completed Basic Cargo and Cargo Mail Handling courses Other job related information Shift pattern The job holder is also responsible for adhering to the relevant health and safety requirements and safe working practices applicable to their employment Candidate must have the right to live work in Bangladesh
