Processing, reconciling of financial transactions in Oracle Financials, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Outline:

• Check and reconcile Counter Sales & Refund Reports received from EK sales counters generated through MARS and follow up on pending items/non-receipt of required documentation from counters.
• Produce all sales related invoices through the invoice capture system and follow-up on the timely receipt of all outstanding monies and assist in other Payable related functions.
• Dispatch of documentation to our Head Office (e.g. required reports) and related correspondence with our internal and external clients to clarify related possible open queries.
• Update bank statement information on a daily basis in the accounting system and perform the relevant reconciliation.
• Review agents? accounts in Oracle Finance and ensure that all unallocated/un-receipted items are cleared/reported to the line manager.
• Update and reconcile BSP and CASS sales/refunds figures in Oracle Finance.
• Perform base cross checks on ticket refunds and process the pay-out in BSP Link.
• Process chargeback requests including the relevant correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
• Generally assist with any accounting routines especially during month-/year-end and assist with any other Finance Department related ad-hoc duties as and when necessary.

Position Based in Mumbai India 

Knowledge/skills:

-Basic Accounting knowledge and skills essential.

-Basic Airline Fares & Ticketing including refund calculations gained within the Airline/Travel industry would be beneficial.

-Ability to plan and organize a busy work load essential.

-High level of attention to detail and the ability to work to and meet deadlines is required.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduation or equivalent

3 years in basic accounting role

Must have the right to work and live India
