Description & Requirements

Manage the allocation and maintenance of departments movable assets and IT equipments, on shift basis. Provide back-up administration support to the operations team with regards to documentation and roster control.
In this role you well:
- Maintains an up to date inventory of all departmental movable and IT / communications assets on shift basis (vehicles, radios, PDAs, mobile phones). Maintains an accurate hand-over / take over log, and ensures that the assets are safeguarded, efficiently allocated to support operations and to achieve economic utilisation.
- Makes regular checks on equipment and assets to ensure serviceability. Proactively follows up with the maintenance / support teams to ensure that the assets and equipments are in seamless working condition. Maintains accurate log of fault complaints and service records, to have up-to-date stock visibility and to enable the admin teams to conduct proper trend analysis.
- Where necessary ensures that information pertaining to customer airline crew (GD) is received and updated in time with the required details. This is to ensure timely processing of the operating crew through the government formalities and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Controls the receipt and timely filing of Dispatch Flight Plans for customer airlines. Verifies the completeness of information and proactively escalates issues to customer airlines and duty management to ensure that there is no disruption to the flight operation.
- Supports adhoc flight billing services by maintaining accurate records in the Dnata Management Information / Billing database (DMIS) for customer airlines. Ensures timely escalation of issues to Flight Support Officer (Billing & Scheduling) and the duty management.
- Conforms to roster requirements on shift basis by ensuring staff is available as per the rostered profile. Liaises with Real Time control and provides replacements as required. Provide timely updates to the Allocation Centre (DOCC) and duty management.
- Controls the segregation and consolidation of telexes / information and airline brief sheets in a file pack for the Dispatchers. Proactively follows up on time critical requests / actions in co-ordination with the duty management. Ensures requests / queries from internal / external customers pertaining to the department are efficiently acted upon in co-ordination with the duty management team where required.
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- 12 years schooling or equivalent
- Good knowledge of airport communication systems including DCS / RMS / BRS / DMIS / AACS.
- Knowledge of flight planning procedures and airline Meteorological requirements.
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of terms and terminology related to the aviation industry.
- Must posses a valid UAE Driving Licence.
- Most posses a Airport Driving Permit (ADP).
