Job Purpose
Architect, design, and communicate a system’s high-level structural and behavioural aspects to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs in alignment with corporate IT standards and architecture guiding principles.

Job Accountabilities
• Develop optimal, fit-for-purpose IT architecture solutions.
• Ensure architecture conforms to corporate IT standards and roadmaps.
• Take accountability for end-to-end architecture and technology decisions.
• Develop Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines.
• Monitor industry trends and evaluate relevant technologies.
• Establish policies and strategies for selecting system components.
• Guide and mentor development team members.
• Conduct architecture reviews of vendor products and applications.
• Develop logical infrastructure solutions aligned to standards.
• Govern development to ensure alignment with architecture.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in Information Technology/Infrastructure.
• 5+ years designing large-scale, distributed, mission-critical applications.
• Knowledge of cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, databases, integration, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Infrastructure Skills
• Disaster Recovery, resiliency, and IT Service Continuity.
• VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, AWS, Microsoft Cloud.
• Infrastructure monitoring and observability.
• Licensing and compliance knowledge.
• Secure architectures for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Network, storage, and backup architecture.

DevSecOps & Containers Skills
• OCI-based container solutions.
• Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Automated deployment and platform governance.
• Observability and monitoring solutions.
• Container security and service mesh.
