As a Transport Control Centre Officer, you will lead, organize and manage the day to day activities within the Transport Control Centre (TCC). Ensuring there are sufficient resources in place to meet customer requirements in a safe and cost effective manner, through effective forecasting and planning of resources and utilisation of the TCC operating systems.
In this role, you will:
- Be the subject matter expert on all operational system deployed within the TCC
- Ensure fleet productivity is delivered inline with company targets
- Maintain up to date knowledge on supplier operational capabilities
- Forecast vehicle deployment, passenger volumes and event planning
- Report and analyse on the day of ops activity
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints in conjunction with the transport duty controller.
- Ensure all staff are briefed and aware of all Transport Ops Bulletins as communicated within the department.
- Maintain co-ordination with key departments to remain up to date with the operational challenges and provide solutions.
- Plan, prepare and implement effective transport solutions.
- Coach motivate and manage the team to ensure they have the appropriate skills set through 1-2-1 meetings and MyBC.
- Comply with the Health, Safety and Quality policies/procedures to minimise the risk of injury and complaints.
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics or Limousine experience
- Experience in operating within a transport control centre
- Familiarity with Transport IT systems
- Experience with in-depth knowledge of the products and effective skills to supervise a work unit.
- Familiarity of UAE roads especially Dubai, Sharjah and relevant RTA regulations.
- Good command in English written and spoken with at least one Asian language is preferable.
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Familiar with MS Word, MS. Excel, Power point and MS Access.
- Valid UAE driving licence
