Job Purpose:

Undergo a maximum of 28 months of the dnata development program which involves learning the business units in different fields within dnata Airport Operations UAE, dnata International Airport Operations, dnata Travel, dnata Catering & Retail and dnata Safety. The program is intended to develop graduate trainees to acquire knowledge, skills and experience relevant to ongoing appointments within the business units. Following successful completion of the graduate program, the graduate trainee will be placed in a permanent grade 8 role within the business.

Job Outline:

• Plan
  - Participate in learning experiences, attend meetings and workshops, and travel to other working environments to gain practical experience.
  
  - Commit to personal & professional training plans assigned as part of the program and work towards achieving the competencies set out in the training plan.
  
  - Submit some form of evaluation at the end of the graduate program and prepare presentations explaining the learnings gained from the attached areas of the business.
  
  - Understand how a company operates, support managers with various tasks and identify how existing systems and processes operate, and offer new ideas for improvement.
  
  Keep an accurate record of your time at the company and be able to pass a competency test at the end of the program.
  
  

• Lead
  - Develop supervisory and leadership skills, including but not limited to, goal setting, giving and receiving feedback, role modelling dnata values and appropriate leadership behaviours, planning and prioritisation of activities in line with business requirements and objectives
  
  - Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  
  
• Execute
  - Perform relevant business process / core activities of the assigned business area / division.
  
  - Complete learning plan, including agreed or assigned on the job, classroom based and online learning.
  
  - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all key stakeholders and foster good relationships with staff members and leave a lasting imprint.
  
  - Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  
  - Take notes on experiences and keep a log of things learned to compile reports and to present to senior management.
  
  - Prepare and deliver a presentation on key deliverables, learnings and skills acquired at the conclusion of each assigned placement.

Qualifications & Experience:Qualifications:

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field.
