Job Purpose

As a Cabin Appearence Specialist, you will responsible for conducting final quality cabin inspections to ensure the highest standards of aesthetics are maintained. This includes performing random audits on various departments and service providers involved in cabin preparation such as EK Engineering, Dnata, Transguard, Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC), as well as 3rd party companies used in Dubai & Outstations (if required).

About the role:

The role entails assessing the overall cabin condition, identifying areas requiring attention, identifying common trends, collaborating with relevant teams to address issues, preparing detailed reports with recommendations, following up with stakeholders to enhance cabin quality, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of cabin standards and processes

In this role you will:

• Perform daily audits on the final product that is ready to be presented to customers departure flights and a consolidated report to be shared with the Head of Engineering on a bi-weekly basis.
• Identify and report common trends related to cabin defects, raise Cabin Enhancement Program (CEP) with Engineering Technical Services (ETS) and follow up with relevant stakeholders to establish short, medium and long term solutions. 
• Update and maintain frequently a new comprehensive Digital Health Record of the entire fleet. This to be used as a tool in recording trends and assessing the health of each Emirates operated passenger / VIP aircraft daily. 
• Generate separate cleaning and defect reports to be shared with the relevant department heads to update and track their progress, inconsistencies and/or failures. - Generate separate security and catering assessment reports to be shared with relevant department heads to monitor, track and mitigate their impact on cabin aesthetics. 
• Conduct follow up audits on Amber / Red rated aircraft (based on Aircraft Cabin Maintenance feedback) that have been extensively worked on to re-evaluate and update its status. 
• Seek feedback continuously to improve audit processes and techniques to support the presentation of a pristine aircraft cabin to Emirates customers. 
• Ensure a defined ownership of individual aircraft by individual team members, ensuring that at any given time a registration owner will know its overall appearance, aesthetic/functional appeal and quality status.
• Carry out detailed assessments of any new cabin products or initiatives on newly delivered aircraft and post modifications, to ensure that they are suitable for long-term & short-term maintainability, reliability, comfort, aesthetic appeal and robustness. Any concerns are highlighted to Technical Services and continuously monitored until they are modified to a satisfactory and acceptable standard. 

Qualification

To be considered for this role you must meet the below requirements:

• Degree with 5 years experience in Customer Service industry with preference to IFS cabin crew experience. Degree in business administration or marketing would be an advantage. 
• High School with 8 years experience in Customer Service industry with preference to IFS cabin crew experience Youll have an edge if you have: 
• Have a valid UAE /Airport Police driving permit. 

You'll have an edge if you:

• Have a strong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a diverse multicultural environment.
• Be assertive but sensitive and have the initiate to work alone on most tasks. 
• Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to observe activities in the cabin on the front line without interfering with the operation.
• Strong reporting writing skills 
• Strong analytical thinking skills
