The Operations Efficiency Specialist will manage the full scope of resource roster planning and deployment activities for the department to ensure optimal utilisation of manpower and improved cost efficiency. The role holder is responsible for delivering effective forecasting, planning, and deployment solutions using advanced data analysis, system tools, and optimisation techniques, while ensuring compliance with company policies and business requirements.

In this role you will:

• Lead the development of manpower plans and optimised roster strategies across short, medium, and long-term horizons, aligned with operational needs and employee engagement standards. Utilise scenario modelling, planning systems, and resource management methodologies to support business decisions and drive service improvements.
• Deliver optimised roster and leave plans by applying resource management methodologies and tools. Ensure data integrity across planning platforms and drive improvements in roster efficiency, employee satisfaction, and cost control.
• Oversee the real-time deployment of resources during live operations. Manage the RTC module and provide guidance to the Resource Allocation team to ensure adequate coverage, prompt adjustments, and optimal resource utilisation.
• Drive system enhancements and upgrades across the full resource management cycle (Planning, Rostering, Leave Management, and Day-of-Ops) in partnership with EGIT and vendor teams. Ensure successful testing, implementation, and post-deployment support to improve user experience and system performance.
• Provide accurate analysis and insight into operational performance, using data visualisation and statistical tools. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to support leadership in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the department's financial planning and reporting processes by supplying manpower-related data, tracking variances, and analysing cost drivers linked to pay, overtime, and resource allocation. Recommend efficiency measures to align with budget targets.

In order to be successful in this role, you must meet the below requirements: 

• Experience in Airport, SkyCargo Operations, Passenger Handling.
• 3+ years experience in manpower planning and rostering.
• 3-4 years of experience in a data supported organisation, including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrable logical, creative and analytical thinking skills.
• IT and Computer Literacy - Advanced Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Microstrategy, Java.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, R, Python.
