As a Ramp Response Agent, you will support the turnaround area of hand baggage collection and special load handling, coordinating outsource deployment across all airport terminals while effectively ensuring handling SLAs, SOPs, Work Instructions and safety requirements are met.


In this role, you will;

  • In collaboration with Outsource team leader, deploys outsource loading teams to the area of allocation, ensures they are fully briefed and timely allocated across the concourses for all flight handling activities.
  • Ensures safety of staff and guides them to work safely by providing support, direction, whilst being a role model for the desired safety behaviours and leading with safety
  • Organizes and supervises the work of outsource loaders on the day of operations to ensure that work is completed efficiently and in compliance with procedures and service standards. Coordinate with different operational areas as required.
  • Monitors bay changes expected time of departure changes and escalates information to relevant stakeholder as required.
  • Acts as the Point of contact for hand baggage product handling in a shift for all EK, FZ, and OAL flights.
  • Manages Special Loads handling (Vehicle Loading, Heavy Cargo, Long Piece, and Odd Shape/Sized Load) across EK and OAL.
  • Collaborates with outsource Team Leader in the planning and preparing manual allocation of Hand Baggage Loaders for flights.
  • Ensures timely reporting of outsource loaders on shifts while manging their performance, reviewing, and mitigating irregularities.
  • Supports exception handling such as ULD Stuck, baggage offloading and other service recovery.


Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements;

  • 10 Years schooling or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of Airport operations experience
  • UAE manual driving license
  • English level 4
  • Experience in operating ramp GSE.
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office packages
  • Should completed all mandatory and regulatory courses in line with dnata learning path.
  • Advance knowledge of Special load handling
