Our Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team is responsible for conveying the essence of Emirates Group. Our team is pivotal in representing the attitudes, beliefs and goals of our organisation across the globe, both internally and with our customers alike!
The Marketing Communications Manager will develop, manage, and implement a fully integrated marketing communication plan for Emirates in partnership with the Corporate Communications, Marketing & Brand (CCMB). Support in achieving objectives by delivering differentiated, targeted, innovative, creative, and cost-effective integrated marketing communications strategies and solutions aligned with business and customer needs.
In this role you will:
- Be the single point of contact between the relevant business units and the Specialist delivery units in the CCMB team. Build strong collaborative relationships with CCMB stakeholders.
- Understand the operating environment, business performance across regions and product verticals, and emerging industry trends. Appropriately advise and influence how to adjust marketing communications strategies and tactics in response.
- Develop a brand programme for Emirates together with the CCMB Specialists that grows brand equity and firmly positions the business as a leader in the logistics sector.
- Prepare single-minded marketing communications briefs in response to business needs for CCMB Specialists, considering the relevant audiences, messaging priority and customer journey for the various product verticals.
- Lead the development of marketing communications plans for Emirates in collaboration with the CCMB Specialists and ensure that the plans are on-brief, aligned with the overarching strategy, timeline and cost-effective.
- Ensure that all projects are managed and shared among relevant stakeholders to department processes and standards set by CCMB to ensure delivery of assignments are within scope, on time, high quality, cost-effective and delivering a return on investment.
- Understand and utilise the CCMB capabilities, such as digital experience, data segmentation, marketing automation, performance programmes, marketing analytics, etc., to drive more informed conversations and define more targeted and effective campaigns for Emirates.
- Agree and manage the budgets for all marketing communications activities and ensure that spend is tracked and reported to maximise ROI and transparency.
- In collaboration with CCMB Specialists and other sources of knowledge, lead advocacy and education about marcom best practice among business stakeholders to create understanding and buy-in of modern marketing solutions.
Qualification
In order to be successful in this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- 8+ years experience in Marketing & Media Communications or relevant.
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Marketing or Communications.
- Post graduate qualification in marketing (preferred).
- Experience in an international advertising agency as an account manager or as a Marketing Communications Manager with an international organisation. Experience in the airline/travel industry is preferable.
