As Manager dnata Business Development and Relations, you will represent the interests of dnata UAE Airport Operations division to external government and regulatory stakeholders, enabling seamless delivery of operational and strategic plans.


In this role, you will:

  • Support the development and execution of the business development strategy for dnata UAE Airport Operations, ensuring alignment with the long-term business plan of the division and revenue growth targets. 
  • Identify new opportunities, develop value driven solutions, and support expansion into new service lines.
  • Manage senior level relationships with key government and regulatory bodies including Dubai Airports, General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), Road Transport Authority (RTA), General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and Police. 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, secure timely approvals, and support operational plans and delivery through proactive engagement.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen strategic partnerships with airlines, ground handling partners, service providers, and industry stakeholders. Drive collaboration plans, joint initiatives, and commercial opportunities that enhance service capability and operational efficiency.
  • Represent dnata UAE Airport Operations at major aviation events, conferences, and exhibitions to strengthen brand visibility and promote service offerings of the division.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards across commercial engagements. 
  • Promote a strong safety culture by modelling safe behaviour, ensuring procedural compliance, and proactively addressing potential risks with internal teams and partners.
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Commercial, HR, and other support functions to ensure Partnership proposals and Budgets are operationally feasible and financially sound. 
  • Lead coordination across teams for seamless onboarding of new partners or services.


Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Honors.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Airport Operations.
  • At least 5 years in Airside/Ground handling with managerial responsibility.
  • Proven senior management skills and strong stakeholder engagement experience with UAE government authorities.
  • Advance understanding of Ground handling industry regulations with knowledge of Airline SOPs, IATA Airport Handling Manual (AHM) and the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO).
  • Knowledge of Airport Safety, Aviation Security and Emergency response/Business continuity plans. 
  • Effective interpersonal leadership skills and safety awareness. 
  • Business finance awareness including budget and cost control knowledge.
  • A passion for service excellence and driving results.
